What is Day 31?
A small, curated resale shop run out of Sandy, Utah. We specialize in items people bought on Amazon but missed the return window on — unopened boxes, barely-used gear, the works. Sellers get a little cash back, and you get brand-name stuff well under what Amazon charges. Every item is in our hands and photographed in real life.
How do I buy something?
Browse the inventory. If you have an insider early-access link, you can lock an item in by tapping Claim and sending a 25% non-refundable deposit via Venmo. That holds it for you until pickup.
How much is the deposit?
25% of the asking price. It's non-refundable but counts toward your total. Tapping the Claim button opens Venmo with the right amount and note already filled in.
Where and when do I pick up?
Pickup is in Sandy, Utah. You'll get the exact address and a time window after we confirm your deposit. Bring the remaining balance (cash or Venmo) — pickup must happen by 10:00 AM Saturday or the item is released and the deposit forfeited.
After I send the deposit, how do you know it's mine?
Right after Venmo opens, we'll ask you for your name and Venmo (or phone) handle so we can match the payment to the right item. It takes about 10 seconds — please don't skip it!
What happens to items that don't sell?
If an item hasn't sold within 30 days, we donate it — first to local refugee resettlement organizations if the item is something they need, and otherwise to Deseret Industries (DI). Nothing ends up in a landfill. Every item finds a home. One way or another.
I missed my Amazon return window. Can I sell it through you?
Yes — that's literally what we're here for. Submit your item with the Amazon link and a real photo, and we'll review it. If accepted, you get 50% of the asking price when it sells — way better than letting it collect dust in a closet.
Are the Amazon links affiliate links?
Some of them — as an Amazon Associate we may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases. It never changes the price you pay.
